Qiang Zhang

Qiang Zhang Associate Professor and Deputy Dean of the National Professional Basic Research Center Laboratory of Gas and other Hydrocarbon Gas Transmission and Pipeline Network Safety, Professional Committee of China Occupational Safety and Health Association for Gas Disaster Prevention and Utilization, Visiting Scholar of the National University of Singapore. Dr. Zhang is dedicated to research on the use of hydrate technology for coal mine gas disaster prevention and separation utilization. He innovatively proposed the addition of environmentally friendly promoter in the coal mine gas hydration separation process, achieving a higher methane recovery rate under relatively mild conditions. He has successively led 17 scientific research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the China Postdoctoral Fund, and the Heilongjiang Provincial Excellent Youth Fund. Long term commitment to research on gas disaster prevention and utilization. 20 SCI/EI search papers, 10 invention patents, and 1 provincial second prize in science and technology. Publishing three monographs and textbooks.
