Qingxiang Wang

Qingxiang Wang holds a joint Ph.D. from Harbin Institute of Technology and National University of Singapore. Currently, he serves as an associate professor and doctoral advisor at China University of Mining and Technology (CUMT). Recognized for his excellence, he has been selected for the Young Talent Program of China Association for Science and Technology (funded by CAST), Jiangsu Province's Key Talent Project, International Outstanding Young Scholar Award, and outstanding young backbone teacher at CUMT. He currently serves as the Deputy Director of the Youth Teacher Development Committee of the School of Safety Engineering, the Deputy Director of the Institute of Industrial Safety and Emergency Equipment, and the Secretary of the Second Party Branch.

Based on the national energy strategy of "Science-Green-Low Carbon-Smart" and targeting the "30.60" dual carbon targets, he has conducted fundamental research and technological development in mine emission reduction/carbon reduction and disaster prevention. Currently, he was in charge of over 10 vertical projects, including 2 National Natural Science Foundation of China projects (General and Youth), 2 China Postdoctoral Science Foundation projects (Special Funding and General), the Youth Talent Supporting Project of the China Association for Science and Technology, the Natural Science Foundation of Jiangsu Province, the "Double Innovation Doctor" Talent Project of Jiangsu Province, and the Major Scientific and Technological Project of CUMT (Excellent Youth Cultivation). Additionally, He was leading 8 key scientific and technological research projects from enterprises such as the China Energy Investment Corporation. He has published 22 academic papers as the first author in well-known energy journals. He has also been granted 16 invention patents as the first or second inventor. His research achievements have received 4 scientific and technological awards from industry associations such as the China National Coal Industry Association, including 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, and 1 excellence award.
