Hetang Wang

Dr. Hetang Wang is currently a full professor at China University of Mining and Technology (CUMT), and the director of the Institute of Mine Ventilation and Underground Space Safety of CUMT. Prof. Wang has mainly been engaged in research in the field of mine ventilation and dust control, and has presided over more than 10 national and provincial projects, including 4 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published more than 80 peer-reviewed academic papers, including 60 indexed by SCI and 12 indexed by EI, which have been cited more than 2300 times, and 7 of them have been selected as ESI hot paper or highly cited paper. He has published 2 monographs, 34 authorized invention patents, and won 8 scientific and technological awards at provincial and ministerial levels. Prof. Wang is a winner of the China National Science Foundation for Excellent Young Scholars. He has been selected for the Young Elite Scientists Sponsorship Program by China Association for Science and Technology, and has been awarded the Sun Yueqi Youth Science and Technology Award, China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Innovation Award. He had served as a visiting professor at the University of Alberta, Canada for one year.
