Dr. Ke Zhang is currently a Professor and Ph.D. supervisor at the School of Civil and Transportation Engineering, Hebei University of Technology. He has pioneered a novel research methodology integrating 3D printing-based physical modeling, non-contact measurement for fracture identification, and rock fracture mechanics, achieving a "What You See Is What You Get" approach to mine slope safety. Prof. Zhang has been selected for several prestigious programs, including the Young Elite Scientist Sponsorship Program by the Chinese Society for Rock Mechanics and Engineering, the Excellent Youth Program of the Applied Basic Research Foundation of Yunnan Province, and the Young Talent Project of Yunnan Revitalization Talent Support Program. He has led three National Natural Science Foundation of China projects and eight provincial or ministerial-level projects. As first or corresponding author, he has published 63 SCI/EI-indexed journal papers, 29 of which are in Q1 journals, with a cumulative impact factor of 202.236, along with one English-language academic monograph. As the first inventor, he has obtained 12 authorized national invention patents. These contributions have been recognized with the Second Prize of the Yunnan Provincial Natural Science Award, the First Prize of the Green Mining Science and Technology Award, and the Second Prize of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Science and Technology Award, all of which he received as the primary awardee.
