Bingyou Jiang

Prof. Bingyou Jiang, Ph.D., a Second-Grade Professor and doctoral supervisor, and a recipient of the Anhui Provincial Outstanding Youth Science Fund. He is the dean of the School of Safety Science and Engineering of Anhui University of Science and Technology, Deputy Director of the State Key Laboratory of Deep Coal Safety Mining and Environmental Protection. He also is the Vice Chairman of the Occupational Health Engineering Committee under the Chinese Occupational Safety and Health Association.

Prof. Bingyou Jiang has been engaged in research on coal mine dust prevention and occupational health for a long time. He has served as Principal Investigator for one of the National Key Research and Development Program, four of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, as well as nine provincial and ministerial research projects. He has published over 100 papers as first author or corresponding author, including more than 50 in JCR Q1 journals and 3 ESI Highly Cited Papers. He holds over 40 authorized invention patents (domestic and international). He has also contributed to the drafting of 1 national standard and 6 industry standards, and 4 of his technologies was selected in the National Health Commission’s Advanced Appropriate Technology Promotion Guidelines of China. His achievements have been recognized with one Second- Class National Science and Technology Progress Award of China, one First-Class Outstanding Achievement Award from the Ministry of Education, and eight additional special-Class and first-Class prizes from provincial/ministerial bodies and national industry associations.
