Zhen Liu

Dr. Zhen Liu, a professor and doctoral supervisor, is the vice dean of the School of Safety and Environmental Engineering at Shandong University of Science and Technology. He is an outstanding young scholar of the Ministry of Education's "Changjiang Scholars Program", a "Taishan Scholar" of Shandong Province, and has received the National Coal Youth Science and Technology Award and the title of "Outstanding Young Scientific and Technological Talent in the Field of Mining, Petroleum and Safety Engineering in Higher Education Institutions". He has led over 10 national and provincial-level research projects and more than 20 enterprise-commissioned projects. He has won 5 first prizes and 12 second prizes in provincial and ministerial-level science and technology progress awards. He has been the first author or corresponding author of 28 domestic and international invention patents, 3 software copyrights, and has participated in the formulation and revision of 2 group standards. He has published 93 high-level academic papers, 58 of which have been indexed by SCI. He has also authored one academic monograph as the first author. He has been invited to serve as the deputy director of the Youth Work Committee of the China Occupational Safety and Health Association, a member of the Mine Ventilation Professional Committee of the China Mine Safety Association, a young editorial board member of "Int. J. Min. Sci. Techno.", and a scientific editor of "Int. J. Coal Sci & Techno.".
