The Meeting of International Committee on Mine Safety Science and Engineering

ICMSSE held its committee meeting in Jiaozuo, Henan, China, at 6:30 p.m. on 10 October 2025, chaired by Prof. Xueqiu He.

The meeting was attended by thirteen committee members from China, Canada, Australia, Poland, Czech Republic, Japan, and Pakistan. Prof. Xueqiu He warmly welcomed and thanked the participants, reviewed the young-scholar recognition program and the history of ISMSSE meetings in China, Canada, Poland and United States, and confirmed that the 9th ISMSSE will be hosted by the University of Wollongong in Australia, chaired by Prof. Tingxiang Ren. 

Prof. Xueqiu He then invited each member to introduce themselves, in case of everyone can know each other deeply. Simultaneously, the committee members had in-depth exchanges on the future development of the ICMSSE.

The ICMSSE meeting concluded successfully. All participants expressed their anticipation for the 9th ISMSSE in Australia, hoping it will further enhance the exchange of mine safety theories and technologies.
